Nina Gaby is a highly accomplished ceramic artist who has recently restarted her artistic career. During the 1970's and earlier 1980's, Nina was one of the premier porcelain artists in the country, with work displayed in many top galleries and included in several publications. Most notably, her work was acquired for the permanent collection of the Smithsonian Museum's Renwick Gallery. Success and the stress of having to produce high quantities of her work, however, caused her to burn-out. As a result, she returned to school and earned a Master's degree in psychiatric-mental health nursing in 1990. Now, following a 15 year nursing career, Nina is back in the studio creating her masterful ceramic art; this time with a more easy going attitude, determined not to get caught up in the demands of high quantity production.
